Need some hands-on activities for your learners to practice colors? These rainbow-themed activities and sensory bin are perfect for your little learners! This resource currently includes 8 different activities using colors and is great for toddlers, preschoolers, and other littles who are practicing their color knowledge. More activities will be added as they are completed!

The following activities are currently included in this resource:

1. Follow the Rainbow Tracing Cards (Students use dry erase markers to trace a variety of lines on laminated cards.)

2. Rainbow Counting (Students count the hearts on each rainbow and match them to the correct number on the mat. Then, they write the number on the recording sheet and color the rainbow.)

3. Rainbow Letter Match (Students match the uppercase letter on one side of a rainbow to the lowercase letter on the other side of the rainbow. Then, they write the letters on the recording sheet.)

4. Picture Color Matching (Students choose a small card with a specific colored picture on it and match it to the same color word on a larger mat.)

5. Color Words Write the Room (Students write the color words ON the laminated cards and/or write the color words on the recording sheet.)

6. Clip the Color Cards (Students will choose a card and use a clothespin to choose the color that matches the picture on the card.)

7. Matching Colored Pom Poms (Students will choose pom pom cards AND real pom poms or puff balls if you choose and match them to the larger color card. Then, they will color the pom poms on the recording sheet the same color written in the box.)

8. Color Specific Play Dough Mats (Students will choose a dough mat and matching colors of play dough to create the designs/pictures.)

The resource includes activities for the following colors:

- Red

- Orange

- Yellow

- Green

- Blue

- Purple

- Pink

- Grey

- Black

- White
