Need some fun things to do for Spring Break with your kids? 🥳

If you’re like me, you want to keep things fun and inexpensive, but also keep everyone moving and learning as much as possible too.

(And bonus points if we could keep the phrases “I’m bored”, “I’m STARVING”, “Can I watch TV?” to a minimum.)

So, to avoid eating every packaged snack you’ve stocked up on and sitting like couch lumps for a week, here are 30 ideas for fun, easy things you can do together during your kids’ spring vacation.

1. Have a picnic lunch at the park.

2. Plan a play date with a friend!

3. Paint a picture of a rainbow or flower or insect (or any spring thing).

5. Explore a spring sensory bin with rice or beans or cereal! You can add learning cards to it to add academic value if you’re feeling fancy. Haha!

7. Plant some seeds and watch them sprout up by the end of the week.

8. Go on a hunt for ladybugs and roly polies.

9. Play with a spring task box.

10. Build a blanket and pillow fort to have lunch in!

11. Visit a children’s museum near you.

12. Get outside for a nature walk to collect leaves or flowers.

13. Create a tye-dye shirt or sweatshirt with THIS KIT.

20. Go on a color hunt outside and find things that match each color of the rainbow.

21. Build something with LEGO or blocks and create a “spring town.”

22. Keep all that learning in their heads with a small handful of spring learning activities.

23. Write a short spring story together and draw pictures to go with it.

24. Have a spring dance party with your favorite songs.

25. Play a board game together and practice counting spaces or adding points.

26. Create a backyard obstacle course and time how fast you can complete it.

27. Make paper flowers or butterflies and count the petals or patterns you create.
